We are on holiday in Las Vegas for my birthday and when I saw she had the foundation, I had to try it. I have seen SO many Instagram videos and some Youtube video ads for this product, and I definitely do not believe the hype. So, this video has me "testing" it for a first time, on camera.

Transformation Taught - Webinar & Guest Speaker - part 1

How is your 2020 going? Is it what you thought it would be? Some of mine is and some isn't - if that makes sense?

 I guess I thought that more things would be happening faster and I find myself pushing boundaries more than ever.

Which is why I am branching out more into public speaking and teaching the transformational modules to inspire women to make the changes that they need to take control of their lives.

After all, the motto for MakeupUniversity has been for the past 12 years "changing lives one lipstick at a time"!

A Day in Vegas with The Female Quotient

Hi ya Gorgeous,

This week has been epic and eventful and on a whim I had a last minute opportunity to visit with The Female Quotient lounge in Las Vegas at the OAAA expo via VegasBuzzTV.

Whoa. That's a mouthful.  I first met the FQ at Sundance where they hosted a lovely lounge with great panels around the subject of women in film and the work environment. So good.

I made a day trip to Las Vegas and arrived at the Aria for the conference. It's such a beautiful resort and casino complete with a monorail and luxury shopping center including Hermes and Harry Winston stores.

The Female Quotient lounge had a panel featuring several women speakers on the topic of "the messy middle" - and how to deal with it.

The panel tackled the idea of "perfection" - the myth of balance and having it all while giving practical tips and options for women in the workplace who need help.

When I arrived at the lounge there was a table full of NYX cosmetics and two makeup artists giving makeup touch ups to the ladies. There was chocolate cupcakes, cookies and refreshments. A photographer was taking headshots for use on new business cards

I loved encountering a financial advisor who was there to answer any money questions a gal could have! The event was a good battery recharger and  perfect for a mid year boost to keep working towards the goals I have set ahead.

Wine Wednesday - Field Trip Edition

Thank you for tuning in today - welcome back to those who are returning and welcome to those who are new!

On Wednesdays - I do wine reviews. Not just any wine review - those bottles and brands that are $10 and under.  Normally I shop at the Walmart or Safeway, but, today! Today I am on a field trip in Las Vegas and shopping at Total Wine.  This store is purely devoted to all things alcohol and wine. There are so many choices - though for this video and my budget, I am only getting wines in the $10 and under range.

If you have a recommendation of a $10 and under wine, please post in the comments.

It was nice to see all of the ties that bind coming together and re-meeting one another. Let's just say, I was late to the GoT game, and only started watching a year ago - but, once I started watching, I'm the biggest fan now.

This video is made in Las Vegas at the start of the NAB show. I had the chance to visit with the beautiful and talented Lisa G Styles from GlamStyleBeauty!



I am pressing in the final days of 5779 to challenge myself - I ate a brussel sprout, let someone else do my makeup, went to the Marquee club and more!

Lisa creates a natural glam look on me for the part ...that starts at 10:30 pm! I'm normally asleep by then!
