Today I talk to you about pirate beauty because the modern day truth is that there is nothing beautiful about pirates.
The movies and media have made them into something "beautiful" and it usually involves dark smudgy eyeliner that is not applied with precision, a clear glossy wet looking mouth and a tan appearing complexion which can easily be achieved with dark tinted powder or moisturizer with a bit of color.
Or you can simply add a cream or powder bronzer to your face for an increase of sun and wind swept tones to your complexion.
So as we enter the holiday season and there are so many opinions of what the traditional holiday or current trend in cosmetics would tell you of what the "it" look is for the season, I say , buck it all and go in your best pirate look.
The pictures will have more to say than you can imagine!
These fragrances had TotalBeauty.com readers gagging, itching and more |
First, a disclaimer: fragrance is a deeply personal thing, and one person's signature scent is another's gag-inducer. So, take these reviews with a grain of salt. But, there is something to be said for perfumes that have multiple people complaining of horrid stenches or headaches. So read on before your next fragrance purchase, at least you'll be more likely to spare your cubicle-mate some nausea. |
