How was your Cyber Monday? Was it like your Black Friday? Are you in the holiday mood? I am. I love the holidays. I don't like how the media and retail trends are pushing me though!
Now I have a few things on my mind and a pending story on the Sarah Palin beauty story. First though, I must share with my Arizona readers: I was shopping in the Sephora at Scottsdale Fashion Square today and one of two things have happened: either the fabulous and amazing manager that used to be there is gone because the place has totally gone to the dogs, or the staff is just fried from the whole "black friday" shopping crowd.
For whatever the reason: I was there today with cash in hand to spend and couldn't get any sales help. I made my own samples, so I got what I needed, and while browsing I found some new goodies that I'll be sharing later this week about products I know you'll enjoy and find useful. Though, Sephora, as I know it, has always been a store with trained and knowledgeable help and today it felt like a department store.
You know, where the kitchen appliances sales girl gets promoted to cosmetics? That's what it was like. No biggie, I didn't buy anything, I just wanted to spend and thankfully since there was no sales help, I didn't.
Keep up your holiday joy because I'm here to tell you, I say with truth and confidence: you are about to have the merriest Christmas ever!
