Today I am sharing another diy recipe test from a book I recently received, called 101 Diy Masks by Jennifer McCartney. It has a strong focus on how to create your own bespoke reusable sheet mask and I've got to say that I'm loving!  I've been liking this book so much and playing with the recipes on myself that I have created another post and video from the book.

I encourage you to use what ever ingredients you have at home and then add a few items to your normal shopping list.

I recommend picking up the muslin cloth or simple cotton dishtowel to make your bespoke sheet mask for yourself or a gift! I got mine at Walmart and it was .97 cents!

Sandal Season is Here! Ethique Pumice & Peppermint Foot Polish to the Rescue!

Oh - the weather! The official date of spring has passed on the calendar yet our current weather situation is anything but warm sunny sunshine filled days!

Though I encourage you to look ahead to better days that are coming!  In fact, sandal season is upon us!  It's time to take the toes out of the wool socks and boots and get them ready for show in fancy flip flops and open toe sandals!

Meaning, it's time for pedicures and taking extra care of feet, toes and heels.  My heels get a little rough in the winter but more so in the summer from always being in a sandal.

I just received a sample of the Ethique Beauty Pumice & Peppermint Foot Polish bar and it is absolutely lovely!

The packaging and thoughtful wrapping is recycled that is compostable. Ethique is a Certified B Corporation, makes cruelty free and climate friendly products - in short, they just make good stuff!

So you simply rub this deeply scented bar with chunks of shea butter in it and wee bits of pumice. The aroma is from the essential peppermint oil infused into the bar. It's a very light exfoliation, it's not harsh at all.

The box says - not to eat - but to be careful in the tub/shower because the super rich emollient shea butter could leave a film on the shower surface and become slippery.

How to Use Heal Fast Skincare to Compliment Microneedling

Wow, was this ever an action packed weekend with the Mayweather vs McGregor fight, then the MTV VMA's and my son's birthday - and the week ahead will be too!

I recently started an at home microneedling regime and have switched from my normal skincare to the HealFast brand and there ovasome technology infused cremes.

I'm doing a microneedling treatment twice a week at night and then using the Heal Fast face creme and eye cream. The goal is to  soften and retexturize my sun damaged skin which lately appears leathery and I'm pretty darn sure it's from all of the sun lately!

The eye creme is light and rich and as I was taking a photo to demo it for you I almost dropped my camera and you can see the beginning of a holler!

I also have the Heal Fast egg cream wash and I love how gentle it is but thorough in cleaning off all of  my makeup.  I have a sample of their cellulite cream and I have used it once and liked the light texture, tingly feel and rapid absorption, but I don't really have cellulite so I'm thinking that is why I regularly forget to use it.
