I think this super cute light turquoise quilted bag of makeup is perfect for a destination bride, any bride, everyday at the office and of course for getting your pixie makeup on for anytime you are feeling the least bit pixiesh.
The first photo shows everything that
comes in the kit: the blush and bronzer duo, the quad of shadows, the lipgloss, a mascara and eyeshadow primer.
The second picture shows the extra beauty items that I added to complete my day pixie look.
After applying my Arbonne line defiance makeup, I began to prime my lids for shadow.
A little bit of primer goes a long way and is worth the added step for photos, or big party nights out because it creates an even canvas to work on and the slight tackiness of the product makes shadows wear
longer. The quad comes with a matte neutral beige that you won't see in a photo of me putting on though I put the creme primer on, then applied a light dusting of the neutral beige
before I started covering below the eyebrow, to the nose and slightly past the outer edge of my eyes with the sparkly gold tone.
Then I cover the lid area from eye
lash line to the crease with the
coppery medium shadow-and I blend like crazy!
This quad is so versatile with a high pigment load that you really can go
from day to night or wedding
ceremony to reception and off to
the honeymoon with it!
Next I use the dark brown to make a smudgey eyeline along my lashes on top and underneath. I use the same dark brown to draw on a thick angular eyebrow.
I curl and apply two coats of the
mascara. I like to curl my lashes first and feel like it opens up the eye a bit more.
The small size is convenient for travel or keeping in your purse during a celebration out.
I begin to finish my Too Faced Pixie look with a coat of gloss and thank goodness it has a brush on it and not a doe foot! I love a brush in my gloss because it puts the product on the mouth and then you can blend it into place where as a doe foot just wipes
the color on and the off as you try to apply. I did not line my lips as usual in this photo!
Since my look is just about done I set my makeup with my new favorite beauty product the brand Makeup Forever HD translucent powder.
If you don't have some, put it on your Christmas list!
Finally, I'm pixie perfect ready and I seal it all in a light spray of ERA Classified cosmetics silver shimmer highlight.
Why you say? Why not!
The Too Faced Pixie makeup bag is a special set for holiday sales and can be picked up at Sephora, Ulta, and maybe even a fine beauty retailer near you!
