Hello Gorgeous!
I pray you and the fam are making memories right now in this Resurrection Sunday weekend! We just did our Passover Seder on the beach. Fun, but gritty.
I'm busy, trying to relax, and enjoy the festivities though if you ask me it's just as busy now as it is in our regular school week!
It's warm here, but not nearly as hot as Arizona, so a big thank you to San Marcos for that! Though I must admit we are the only people at the beach in winter fashions.
I'm using KISS My FACE Natural Active Life aluminum free deodorant, the fragrance free version as a test this weekend for transitioning myself from super duper anti-persperants that keep Arizona wetness and scent at bay but are not the best health choices for me.
Now, before we all lemming pile off the edge of a cliff, this is just my opinion and what I've read and studied on the effects of aluminum on the body. (Aluminum being a main ingredient in anti-persperants)
I really enjoyed this take on it from a fellow blogger: Kitchen Stewardship
" antiperspirants (not deodorants) have aluminum as an active ingredient. Aluminum has been pegged as a contributor to Alzheimer’s Disease, and there’s a chance it has an impact on breast cancer as well. (See this post for aluminum factoids.) Because antiperspirant goes on skin that has often just been shaven, it’s going to be absorbed even more quickly than other products you put on your skin. Which, consequently, have as great an impact on your system as what you put in your mouth. Your skin is your largest organ, and one of its jobs is to absorb.
Okay, so with all of that said, and especially since I am such a firm believe about the skin being the largest organ and it's time to pay careful attention to what you put on it-because remember, what you put on gets absorbed in! Like lipstick ( love the stuff!) the average woman who wears lipstick five days a week for work will eat it ( that's why it wears off) and the total is about 8 pounds per year. Of lipstick. That's the size of a baby!
So back to KISS My FACE aluminum free deoderant, here in 68 degree balmy San Marcos it's working great, though it may be a whole other story when I return home to 98 degree Arizona! More on that later.
In the meantime, visit www.kissmyface.com for more information on the brand and product and if you want to buy some for yourself, it's about $5 online and in health food stores!

Hey Ms. JoJo!
Thanks for the comment and yep, that lil guy is a cutie. We are in the San Diego area and it's chilly, foggy but still a good day at the beach!
