The gel manicure can make your summer vacation a lot easier! How? Because it can last supers shiny and chip free for up to two weeks. Now that sure takes the worry out of packing polish and paying for a manicure before you leave town and having it only last a few days.
So, let me introduce you to Belvada brand Gel Moment. The polishes are $14.95 and all you need to make the gel polish last longer is a LED curing light.
I was sent a sample of 2 polishes: a Great Gatsby tone in Lavender Allure and a modern 2013 Pantone trend in Midnight Kiss plus a portable LED curing light.
Oh what fun! Enjoy this short video demonstrating how the system works.
Things to note:
1) I did not have a special gel nail cleanser, just used my nail polish remover.
2) I did not have a special gel nail clear top coat, I chose not to put any on.
3) I only put one coat of gel nail polish on and cured it, instead of the professional salon procedure of putting 2 coats on plus a top coat. Why? Because I do not keep acetone on hand which is required for safely removing the gel polish like the salons do. So, I put one coat on! I'm going to see how it holds up to house remodeling and horse back riding! Update soon!
