Hello there beautiful readers!! Since Cherelynn is out of town this week she asked if I would mind writing a post for her blog, I am very honoured. My name is Melonie and I've known Cherelynn for many years, however our friendship has really blossomed in the last 6 months or so. I am so blessed to have a friend in Cherelynn, but I'm sure you already know how amazing and wonderful she is since you are here reading this!!

I thought I would give waxing my own legs a whirl, they seem to be the simplest, fastest and most painfree spot I get waxed, so I thought it would be a safe bet!(especially since I am NOT an aesthetician!) I used Nad's body wax strips which contain natural beeswax and come with desensitizing Kava wipes.
These can be purchased either online or at your local Walmart or Target!

*So I tried it on Wednesday eve, I was grooming for my 5th Anniversary date the following eve. I have a feeling that the box sat out in the sun and/or the heat, there was a lot of wax on one end in a little clump. Both sides of every strip were sticky as a result! I'm not sure if there is something wrong with my sniffer, but the smell really reminded me of leather?! Not really strong and over powering but definitely there!! I followed the directions on the box exact. I felt so proud of myself, like I was a pro!! However the end results were less exciting and definitely not that of a pro!! It took about 60% of the hair, so much better then that sandpaper hair remover I've seen around, but who wants little patches of hair here and there?! It looked weird, like I had mange or something!! I would probably try it one more time, just simply because my results may have been skewed because of the melted wax, causing uneven strips?! If I get better results, I would be happy to do it myself, otherwise, I'm gonna stick to my miracle-worker-waxer-lady!!
