All you ladies at the I Heart Radio Music Festival, I sure hope you have already been to your local ULTA Beauty store for the "21 Days of Beauty" event!
Why?
Because this amazing eye pallete is available right now, but I don't know for how long! Smashbox shadows are velvety on the lid and wear forever while having a true pigment for hours! Get some!
I start by doing my eyebrows with Bourbon. Please let me take this moment to say I'm sorry for not following the instructions in the eyeshadow box. It outlines everything as well as shows some great eye makeup tutorials. But. Nope. Didn't do it. So wing it with me from here on out.
Eyebrows are filled in with Bourbon and now I sweep Opus all over my lid.
Time to do a purple smokey eye on one lid and a daytime purple eye on the other! I'm using Chianti on both eyes. One eye has Chianti all over the lower lid, and the other has it just as in the corner/crease for accent.
I then use Blacktop as my lower eyeliner, as well as a corner of the outer eye accent.
Now this is the finished nighttime eye ( by the way, I'm on my way to my son's school for a meeting...)
And here is the finished daytime eye, though, with the lighting and camera angle, I'm not sure you can see the subtle definition?
Okay, finally here are some swatches: again, I did not follow the directions in the box, please, would you follow them? They are so helpful. If only I had seen that earlier!
The swatches in the top photo: Top left: Blacktop, Chianti, Bourbon, then the middle line which is difficult to see due to my pale arm and the light shadow: on top: Opus, Confectionette.
Now in this photo, starting from the top left of the arm: Coronation, Midnight Emerald, then the light shades are Vanilla, Mist, and the last row are Nutmeg, Sapphires, and Obsidian.
I love every color and thse can from day to night, work to play!
